A little gem of an Italian restaurant/pizzeria in the middle of a strip mall called Cedar Grove Center. Clean, good lighting, nice decor, art work, and a good selection of food with a congenial staff. Good dinner date place.

Very friendly strip-mall pizzeria. Lots of selection and a great grandma pizza. Their 20" large pies are gigantic. Lots of seating with an additional area in the back. BYOB (there's a liquor store in the same strip mall). From all the plaques on the wall they are a big community supporter - which is nice, too.

Dont get me wrong, I love their food and I dont like giving a bad review. However, when their pizza slices are burnt every other time I get it, it makes me disappointed. Please get some timers to remind the staff when to take the pizza out of the oven or at least check the bottom before they put it on display to sell it. I know many other customers who stopped going here because of burnt slices they get.

Used to order from a different place nearby but the food had been on a steady decline so we decided to try someplace new. I am so glad that we found this place, the food is delicious. We've tried a few of the different gourmet pies and have not been disappointed yet! The dinners are excellent as well and generous portions. The only downside to this place is that they do not deliver to Piscataway but it's a small sacrifice to make to get great quality & delicious food.

Great pizza. The cheese is excellent. At lunch you can buy slices and they are large and satisfying. The place is usually busy at lunch and dinner time. Cost is very reasonable for what you get.

This is real pizza! The crust is doughy but not to thick the sauce is perfectly savory. The eggplant pizza and vodka margherita are amazing. You will not be disappointed. You can tell the quality of the ingredients used is high. Favorite pizza place by far and large !

Piazza Orsillo is located in a shopping center in between Somerset, Franklin, and Hillsborough. There is a large parking lot, but around lunch hours, this can fill up and it can be a challenge to find a place to park. Piazza Orsillo has a good amount of dining space, helpful and polite staff, and a tremendous assortment of specialty slices and foods available at the counter. I always give a lot of props to pizzerias that offer so many options at the counter, and Piazza Orsillo has one of the tastiest looking assortments I've seen in the area. The pizza overall is very good. The plain slice had a nice crispy base, good cheese and sauce, though a slightly burnt/dry crust. The chicken, bacon, ranch slice was packed with flavor and had great proportions of chicken to ranch dressing. The Margherita slice was also delicious and had more of the tasty sauce I enjoyed so much. This is definitely one of the better spots in the Franklin-Somerset area.

The pizza-related jokes on the sign out front are just one of the ways this place shows it’s personable and welcoming. I’ll always remember the one person who shouted good bye to me from the back of the kitchen as I was leaving.And it doesn’t hurt that the food’s great too.

Pizza is great and only a short drive from work. Huge slices for a fair price. I haven't ordered a whole pie here yet, but I plan to in the near future. Ordering online is easy as well, which should be done for pick up especially during lunch hours.

Only in town for the night so relied on google and yelp. Food was amazing, reviews were good but it's in a strip mall so we were caution. Staff were friendly and quick. Even took a to go menu as I left to order lunch the next day.

I'm born and raised in NY, so my pizza standards are high. Being a chef and a self proclaimed "connoisseur " of great food doubles my sentiment. Very few pizza shops have a certain quality I like. This might not work for most, I'm speaking for me. I can't stand things wadding up, being chewy with that rubbery texture cooked mozzarella in known for. They are the only pizza shop I've been to in NJ that uses an aged high quality cheese that doesn't wad up. I have bought their pizza and taken ro NY with me to keep from having ro go downtown or Brooklyn just to get pizza. Theirs ranks among the best!!!

Really great family owned spot. They are always so friendly and make you feel welcome from when you step in the door. It also helps that there food is always good.

la pizza è ok per qui. non perdere tempo con i piatti di pasta e di vitello Niente di italiano qui. Lo chef non conosce la differenza tra vitello Saltimbocca e sorrentino questo posto non durerebbe una settimana in italia .... I share more in English. This place has nothing to do with Italian cooking, the pizza is ok and can be compared to strip mall pizzas in the area but zero comparison to pizza in Italy. Let’s call it a pie!As for dishes, the chef ( if we can use this term ) know three ingredients and keep mixing them for anything you order , cheap mozzarella, canned tomatoe sauce and bread crumbs. He literally did not know the difference between the dishes on the menu. Not sure how the owner trusts his place to this crew. If you want to laugh, go ask for Veal saltimbocca and sorrentino , you will get the same thing. I will never go back there. Save your money and go to many other places in the area that are far superior to this place. Ciao!

Great food, good service.

Seafood pasta (scallops, oysters, and shrimp with marina) is one of the best I've ever had. Great use of spices and flavor is met with eat forkful. Previously tried their "grandma's pie" - down right delicious. Wish I had more than one stomach to handle it all. If ever in Somerset you definitely want to swing by this nice & clean ristorante.

This is by far the best pizzeria in Somerset. I drive 2 towns over just to eat this delicious pizza. The staff is so courteous and extremely pleasant. The restaurant is clean. At times I order take out and I have also eaten in the back of the restaurant with my family during dinner time. This past June, piazza delivered food to Colonial Park in Elizabeth Ave. I was pretty impressed with that. This pizzeria also supports a lot of local groups.

Want to give local places business. Called at 7 pm today for pizza delivery. I was given the time and amount. It is 9 pm- no delivery, no call, no answer.Done with this place

Very good Italian food!!!

No frills NY style pizza joint. There is of course a pizza place on every strip mall in Jersey but I really enjoyed the pizza here. Food was good and service was quick. Just don't expect anything fancy and you'll enjoy it.

Pizza was okay. The toppings were of high quality. The crust was black from being overcooked. I won't be back for two reasons: 1. The prices have been increased, but the online menu and even the menu board in the restaurant's lobby don't reflect the increased prices. That's just plain wrong, and could be illegal.2. I tried to give them a second chance. I showed up at 8:54 PM and was told they were closed. Both Google and the decals on the front door reflect a 10:00 PM closing time. The answer I got was that the posted hours were "before COVID." I would suggest an investment in new door decals, as well, as an update to the menu board and the online menu.

We took home a steak cheese sandwich and it is the worst sandwich I’ve ever tasted. The beef is so old, leathery dry and barely any cheese in it. And it’s sooooo salty as if they dumped a salt bottle in there to cover up the old beef. We’ve been to this restaurant many times for years and I would never ever go back there again!! While I understand people make mistakes, my son got very sick after eating this very old beef.

Always excellent food, excellent service and great prices

We ordered from Piazza Orsillo to cater for an event (3 trays of Eggplant Rollatini, Chicken ala Piazza, Zuppa de Pesce). Everything was delicious with generous portions, great presentation, and great service. The seafood tray was killer and well worth it, with lots of shrimp, calamari, scallops, mussels (you name it, fresh and delicious). All in all, a great restaurant, with awesome service and delicious food every time we go!

this is the pizza I grew up on. It has that slightly flowerrescrust. The cheese is thick and mouth watering and I had mushrooms A top and it was delicious. A light meal but it fills you up.

The white pizza is quite good. Nothing fancy. Just the basics and solid pizza. What's not to like?
